Antique Leather Suitcase 1920s Small Overnight Case, Initialled Queenie Dear Eltham London, Vintage Prop Luggage
An authentic 1920s–1930s British hard-shell leather overnight case with rich London provenance.
Finished in thick chocolate-brown hide with stitched border seams and a stout rolled leather handle. The front panel is hand-stamped with the original owner's initials Q. K. L. D., with the interior lid retaining the charming original handwritten pencil inscription: "Queenie Dear, 17 Congreve Rd, Eltham, S.E.9".
Fitted with heavy solid brass side-slide spring catches that snap firmly shut and release smoothly when pushed outwards (no key included). The interior is lined in clean, sturdy tan leatherette card with dual retaining straps.
Perfect as rustic living room storage, stacked on a side table or trunk, wedding card display, shop display, or theatrical period prop.
